Emergency Health Sciences aggressively promotes teaching, research, scholarship, patient care, and community service. The Department fosters leadership, advancement, and professional development of Emergency Health Care providers in communities of interest. The Department develops quality educational programs, skilled and effective emergency care professionals, and professional educator role models. In addition, the Department supports the missions of the School of Allied Health Science and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
