Description

The San Bernardino County Probation Department conducts court related investigative services and provides community supervision of 22,000 adult offenders, 3,000 juvenile offenders, and 2,500 persons on supervised release through AB 109. The department operates juvenile detention centers and placement facilities, in addition to day reporting centers. The department has over 1,200 sworn and civilian employees and an annual budget of $144.5 million dollars. Our Mission To protect the community through assessment, treatment and control of adult and juvenile offenders by providing a range of effective services based on legal requirements and recognized professional standards.
