San Diego Autocross can be found at Qualcomm Stadium. The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), BMW Club of America (BMWCCA), and Porsche Club of America (PCA) all host events at the stadium. Autocross is the sport of trying to navigate your car through a defined course of pylons in the shortest time possible. There are few motorsports where a driver matters more because in autocross the course is very technical, with tight turns that come often, and never the same since a new course is designed every event. Because of this, autocross provides the sense of speed and allows you to learn the limits of yourself and your car and relatively safe speeds (45-65mph). Autocross courses are set up using soft orange traffic pylon cones. Just like those we see on construction sites, they are there because they will not damage a car or endanger a driver if hit. So come on out and feel free to post on our wall with any questions/comments! Also, check out our FAQ in the Notes Section. If you're still unsure, just COME OUT during any event!
