Description
San Francisco Islamic School offers a structured Sunday school placing its emphasize on teaching young Muslims about their religion. Our classes are held on Sundays during the school year from September until May. Our schedule is from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. We serve students from all around the San Francisco Bay Area ranging from Pre-K students to high school students. Arabic language is an important part of our curriculum. SFIS also offers a full time school. The rigorous academic program prepares our students to develop great reading, comprehension, and math skills. The students get daily math and english language arts instruction along with twice weekly Science, History and Art instruction. In addition to the excellent academic program, the students have rigorous studies in Quran and Arabic as well as Islamic Studies 3 times a week. The classes start in August and run through June. Daily schedule runs from 8:15 am - 3:00 pm. Registration now open for TK-4th grade for 2016-17 school year. San Francisco Islamic School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to its students and does not discriminate on the basis of race in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs
