The Syrian conflict has resulted in the biggest humanitarian crisis of our time. SAISIA is taking action through the Saskatchewan Cares campaign.
The Saskatchewan Cares campaign is an initiative created by the Saskatchewan Association of Immigrant Settlement and Integration Agencies (SAISIA). The campaign is an excellent opportunity for Saskatchewan people to support more refugees find a durable solution and rebuild lives shattered by violence. The global resettlement needs have doubled since 2012, surpassing the one million mark, and yet only one out of ten refugees is resettled today. At a time of spreading conflict and growing numbers of people forced to flee their homes, there is an urgent need for additional resettlement support. As one of the world's leading resettlement countries and with its long history of generously welcoming refugees from all over the world, Canada and the Canadian people will not let that call go unheard.
