Ranked 2nd in the UK by the Guardian University Guide, the School of Economics at the University of Surrey enjoys a leading international reputation. We are placed 2nd for student satisfaction in the Times Good University Guide, 10th overall in the Sunday Times league table and 12th in the Complete University Guide. Many academics within the School are economic advisers to such world-renowned organisations as the IMF, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England and HM Treasury. This means we can offer students real industry experience and ensures our teaching and research remain at the forefront of the field.
