School Performance Scores are out, and Sci High has increased our SPS for the 5th year in a row! As the official ranking of school success in New Orleans and Louisiana, this is public affirmation of the hard work students, staff, and community partners are accomplishing here. Among our components for a B rated school this past year were: We improved Class of 2014 senior ACT scores in the final March test and saw 10 of our students move from below to above a composite score of 18. Seniors moved from 16.8 composite to an 18.5 class ACT average from start to finish of their senior year. We created a cohort of support for seniors who needed extra support, encouragement, study time, and badgering to help them graduate thus helping increase our cohort graduation rate. 82% of seniors enrolled in and passed an Advanced Placement course to earn a diploma endorsement. Countless actions by everyone on the team... every day... with every student. Thank you for your work and your support.
