Thanks again to everyone who attended the Annual Meeting last night. If you missed the beautiful tributes to our departing teachers and staff, here's the poem read by teacher Amee Sherer, The Good People, by Danny Siegal. The Good People everywhere will teach anyone who wants to know how to fix all things breaking and broken in this world – including hearts and dreams – and along the way we will learn such things as why we are here and what we are supposed to be doing with our hands and minds and souls and our time. That way, we can hope to find out why we were given a human heart, and that way, we can hope to know the hearts of other human beings and the heart of the world. Thank you to all of the good people who make SJCS an amazing community for kids and families!

Today in Gan...(Please don't leave us just yet, Gansters!) Child #1: I want to marry you. Child #2: Hmm. I think I got married last year in pre-school. #1: Oh. #2: But that’s ok. I think I can have another husband. #1: I think you can have three. #2: I’m not so sure. #1: I don’t think it’s legal. We will need to move to another country.
