A non-profit dedicated to improving the population health of underserved communities.
Our first project is located in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. We are working closely with a local opthalmologist, Dr. Guadie Sharew Wondimagegn, dean of the College of Medicine & Health Sciences at Bahir Dar University. We will be providing resources to access medical supplies, surgical packages, and financial support for initial building and operating costs. Through patient procedures and a tiered-pricing system, the opthalmology clinic will become a sustainable eye care facility.

Happy New Year! This is the year we're starting to see patients in our new clinic in Bahir Dar. Excited to get this project launched after all our hard work and all your support :)
We are up and running again, back from our summer break! Random fact of the day: Those with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes are at risk to developing retinopathy, a disease of the eye that can lead to severe loss of sight or even blindness. Another reason for healthy eating habits! (source is National Eye Institute)
Did you know that about 80% of our memories are determined by what we see? You can form some of these types of memories by attending our Gala event on November 15th, 2014! We will be having an auctioneer enthusiastically auction off some incredible items! More information to come about this wonderful night of having fun and doing good!
