Seniors in Service engages people in volunteerism, particularly those 55+, to help children succeed and elders remain independent.

Description

Programs include: Foster Grandparent Program, provides caring, skilled volunteers who tutor and mentor children in schools in the Tampa Bay area who are at risk of failure. Senior Companion Program, provides caring, skilled senior volunteers who assist with light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation and offer companionship to frail elderly wanting to age in their home. RSVP volunteers serve in hospitals, nonprofits, before and after school programs, food kitchens, and other community segments in need.
