Sonay Gabroo Punjab De came together September 2001, combining their individual talents to form SGPD, which today is established as one of the most elite performing bhangra team based out of Toronto. Today, SGPD has taken the next step which is opening there own Bhangra Academy. SGPD has opened up a facility to teach those who have a passion to learn the great art of Bhangra. Our instructors are trained individuals who have learned the techniques and requirements in becoming a Bhangra Allstar. Known as one of Toronto's elite Bhangra teams has been a earned title and we would only like for it to grow. Our academy has expanded its horizons to teaching various types of arts which include: Bhangra (for youths and adults), Giddha, Ladies Social Dance, Bhangra Aerobics, Bollywood, and Dhol.
