Description

SheffMUN 2015, the fourth annual Sheffield Model United Nations conference, will take place across Friday 4th - Sunday 6th December in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The conference willl bring together up to 400 university students from across Europe and the world for a three-day simulation of United Nations Committees. In addition to this, SheffMUN 2015 will also host specialised committees such as simulations of the European Council, the International Court of Justice and a Security Council Crisis Committee. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the United Nations, its working methods, its mission, aims and scope, as well as a better appreciation of world politics and international affairs. Participants registered to the European Council or International Court of Justice will also gain a better understanding of such bodies. Moreover, this will be an opportunity for participants to meet like-minded students from around the world.
