Description
The Shelby County Veterans Court Foundation is helping by providing funds for various things including but not limited to: transportation to court or other appointments, emergency shelter, psychiatric testing and other treatment services. In the future, we hope to expand service options based on our veterans' needs.
General Info
Shelby County Veterans Court was the first court in Tennessee to launch a Veterans Court. The program provides a mean to divert eligible veteran participants from the traditional criminal justice system and provide them support and rehabilitation through comprehensive substance abuse and/or mental health treatment; education; vocational programs; and community resource referrals for housing, childcare, and transportation, all while being judicially monitored.Company Rating
