We are a privately lead consortium hoping to bring Chelmsford's 'Shire Hall' back to life as a high-end boutique cinema and community venue, encompassing a café with associated bookshop, members' lounge, function hall and events venue plus high-end office space. This venture will be funded, in part, by way of an issue of 'high-yield bonds' to both private and corporate investors, principally from the local area. We are currently undergoing high-level discussions with Essex County Council and, subject to their anticipated 'agreement in principle' to our proposal, we will be releasing a detailed investment prospectus.
