For your first check-up, Dr Annie or Amanda Lin will conduct a comprehensive oral examination to assess the current condition of your teeth and to determine whether there is any treatment that will be required. Diagnostic X-rays are generally taken at this stage if you have not had them for more than 12 months. If there is work to be done, the dentist will provide you with a detailed treatment plan that outlines the procedure, timeframe and estimated cost of each appointment so there are no surprises. They will even show you intraoral photos of your teeth so you can see what we see! After the examination is complete we will give your teeth a thorough scale and polish so you walk out of here with that unbeatable dentist-clean feeling! We will finish off with a concentrated fluoride treatment. As a practice we value our new patients incredibly and always do our best to ensure that each and every patient leaves our care happy.
