Meet Elizabeth (left) and Shirley (right). These amazing women have been coming to the sold-out B-Fit class at Freedom Square, 3 times a week, since October. They have been incredibly dedicated and push themselves when challenged by our trainer/class instructor Cassandra. Elizabeth was told by her doctor that her strength is the highest it's been in a long time. And she feels better too. Shirley went from walking 1/2 mile a day a year ago, to now walking over 3 miles a day. They shared these stories after class today and gave a huge thank you to Cassandra. There are no words to express how happy we are to impact the lives of our cherished clients in such positive ways. We are so proud of you!

Time to 'Turnip the Beet' on this busy Monday. Did you know?... In addition to its many nutrition benefits, beet juice is used in some areas of Canada to remove ice from city streets. And unlike sand or salt, it does not damage cars. When sugar is extracted from beets, the leftover molasses is sprayed on roads to combat ice, all the way down to -32 degrees. Wowza! A terrifying or intriguing sight to be seen...that is the question!
