Please join Sierra Nevada Association of Paralegals on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at noon at Palais de Jade, 960 W. Moana Lane, for a presentation by David F. Sarnowski, General Counsel/Executive Director of the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline, who will discuss the commission's investigations of allegations of Judicial misconduct in office, violations of the Code of Judicial Conduct, or disability of judges. He will briefly discuss the Commission's authority to handle a wide range of complaints against judges including, but not limited to: violations of the Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct, which is based on the Model Code of Judicial Conduct; failure to perform the duties of office; and mental or physical disability that is likely to be permanent in nature, which prevents the proper performance of judicial duties. $18 for SNAP members and guests; $15 for student members (includes lunch and beverage).
