Making a decision to pull out of a planned event you've been training for is never easy. I've spent the last week umming and arrring about participating in today's Melbourne half marathon. Plagued by injury (back and knee😫) in conjunction with a house move over the last 2 weeks has resulted in the inevitable... Not running today. For the first time, I've listened to my body and thought I could have injured myself further and recovery may not have been as swift. So for those of you who are in the same position as me, don't beat yourself up about your decision not to run. Think positive! You've made the right decision as hard as it is after the training you've done. You'll be stronger for itπŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ For those of you who did run today I hope you enjoyed every minute, soaked up that atmosphere and achieved your own personal goals!
