SkinSense Dermatology provides both medical and cosmetic dermatology services in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Run by board-certified Dermatologists, the clinic offers skin care for all ages and stages of health. Referral from a family physician, specialist or nurse practitioner is required for all medical dermatology patients. The clinic also offers a carefully curated selection of products for purchase. We only sell what we use ourselves! Elta MD, ColourScience, and SkinMedica are some of our favourites. Our doctors are Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certified in Dermatology. This level of qualification requires four years of medical school followed by five years of intensive training in medical, surgical, and paediatric dermatology, culminating in a fellowship exam. Dr. Hawkins is a graduate of Nutrition and Biochemistry at Acadia University. She then went on to medical school and earned her MD at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. For residency, Dr. Hawkins completed a 5-year joint program in Dermatology between the University of Saskatchewan, Dalhousie University and the University of Toronto. She completed her Dermatology residency in Toronto in 2014 and passed her Royal College examination that same year. Dr. Hawkins is a passionate patient advocate and strives to provide efficient, quality dermatologic care. Dr. Law completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. She subsequently went on to medical school and earned her MD at the University of British Columbia. She was accepted into the joint Dermatology program at the University of Saskatchewan and Dalhousie University. She completed the first two years of training at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon and then moved to Halifax to complete the final three years of training at Dalhousie University. She passed her Royal College Dermatology exam in 2014. Dr. Law is an enthusiastic physician with a passion for patient education and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Monica Miliszewski has recently joined the practice, and we welcome her expertise and enthusiasm. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Dermatology program and the University of Saskatchewan Medical School. She is Royal College certified in Dermatology.
