Welcome to Skylar's Pretty Little Books. Here you will find new life being breathed into old, discarded books as they are transformed into beautiful displays of art. Each book is individually hand-crafted into a design of your choosing, with the option of having it decorated in colours to suit you, wrapped in appropriate 'theme' paper or simply left as it was originally intended, but finished off with a ribbon. There are so many designs available and I will constantly be updating the page with new ones, so if you were after something specific then please get in touch. I am based in Calverton and also Long Eaton in Nottingham for collection, alternatively delivery is available via a secure, tracked courier service at a flat rate price of £6.50 to mainland UK (other destinations please contact for a quote) Please note - All books are pre-loved and randomly selected, if you were wanting a specific book for your piece then please bear in mind this will have to be specially sourced and reflected in the cost to you. Please remember that with all books (even those purchased brand new) they can sometimes have slight dents or marks to them, I will however endeavour to minimise this happening on any orders. All orders are taken on a 2 week turn around basis for collection, so please bear in mind that I might be able to help if required for an earlier date but can not guarantee. Personalised orders (i.e names and dates) will require a minimum £10 non-refundable deposit at time of ordering, this can be paid via paypal or cash. No refunds are accepted.
