I am an insured freelance groom. I do have my own small herd of ponies. I have been around many breeds of dogs and various livestock animals also. I am looking at taking on a few more clients around the Peterborough area, I generally do stable duties and yard work but in the recent months I have been given the oportunity to gain experience with an eventing client. Most of my experience is yard work, as well as ground work,handling, grooming etc. In all the time i have dealt with horses most of my experience is with youngstock with having multiple of my own and unhandled ponies. I do have more confidence on the ground and I am a novice rider. I have had experience around stallions but they have all been ponies. I'm willing to just do fencing or poo picking etc. for individuals. I do lack in the clipping, pulling and plaiting department with not having anything other than traditionals. However if this is what is required I am willing to practice some more with your help if that is an option. Also I am willing to work with a dog kennel or cattery as I also have experience with them. I have worked in a show kennel as well but not preparing the dogs for shows i have only observed and help hold the dogs for show grooming. I have dealt with various breeds of dogs, there is no breed I will not deal with. I dont mind if i'm only required to walk dogs or skip out kennels or poo pick the dog paddocks etc. I am happy to do holiday cover but will obviously have to fit in around my other clients also.
