What do I need to do before my treatment Avoid eating and drinking for 2 hours before your treatment to avoid the excessive production of saliva. Please do not brush your teeth 4 hours before treatment as some toothpastes may leave a film over the teeth which can make the whitening process less effective. After your treatment; Do not brush your teeth for at least 24 hours after the treatment. Smokers are advised not to smoke for at least 24 hours.
