Snow Factor Braehead Welcome to Snow Factor Braehead, Scotland’s newest snow resort, we are home to the UK's longest indoor Real Snow slope - 168m long x 36m wide with a dedicated nursery slope which cost £32m to build. We are open 363 days a year and we house over 1500 tonnes of snow on our dedicated slope within Xscape Braehead, Glasgow.

Description

In December 2011 the site was acquired by Ice Factor International Ltd, who have just completed a £1mill revamp. This has seen a number of major enhancements to the operations including:- Full refit of the bar to create Bar Varia - Bar & Restaurant Creation of New Snow Link to allow you to ski/board straight to the bar (your slope time is halted when you are visiting Bar Varia) New Stairs to the Changing Village taking you straight to the ticket desk New Rental Area complete with state of the art digital height and weight machines to set your bindings/breaks correctly New Permanent Freestyle Park for learning tips and tricks Overhauled POMA lifts with 30% more uplift capacity to mitigate queues Overhauled slope lighting and snow blowing to provide perfect year round snow Indoor Ice Climbing wall with multiple routes.
