Amy holds a pre-med bachelor's degree from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA and a 4-year Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM) degree from Five Branches University in San Jose, CA. She is a California state board Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and herbalist, and is currently completing the last year of her doctoral degree in oriental medicine at Five Branches University. Before starting the master's program, Amy spent eight years working at Johnson & Johnson in pharmaceutical research.
