Is anybody else having a tree pollen problem this year?

Published on 2013-04-23 19:12:50 GMT

What a dry wet season we are having. We are normally slow this time of the year but the lack of rain means solar panels are heavily soiled. There is always a lot of tree pollen this time of year but the rain normally washes that away. This is the first year we have needed to clean the pollen off the panels.

Generated summary (experimental)

We use our specialized solar panel cleaning technology to ensure the peak performance in Los Angeles, Orange County, and all of Southern California.
Over the years we have been leading the way in solar panel cleaning services and maintenance.
Regular washing will stop 'solar clouding' so your system will produce more for longer.
Our Green Solar Panel Cleaning Technology
The solar panels stay clean up to 10 times longer - When chemicals and detergents are used a thin layer of sticky residue left behind.
No sticky residue is left on the glass, therefore there is nothing for the dust to stick to, and they will stay clean up to 10x longer.
Solar panels will be cleaner - Super purified water has a strong desire to return to its impure state.
Safe for your panels - Solar panels are relatively fragile.
Finally, we use a method that does not quickly lower the temperature of the panels, which can crack and break them.
Environmentally friendly - You are obviously environmentally friendly conscious and we are also concerned about the environment.
Additionally, we conserve water with our technology, which uses only a small fraction of the water typically used to hose down solar panels.
Solar panel maintenance lengthens the lifespan of your system - Chemicals and detergents shorten the lifespan of glass and rubber seals.
Pure water washes away damaging chemicals or dirt and leaves nothing that can shorten the lifespan of the solar panels.
Here is a email we received on 3/14/2013 for one of our customers in Corona, Ms. Thompson:
Why did she experience such a difference?
When any kind of soap or detergent is used to clean your solar panels it leaves a stick residue even if it is rinsed thoroughly.
So why did this customer say the rain cleaned the panels only after we cleaned them?
Again, if soap is used the soap will hold onto the dirt and the sun will bake it into a hard thick layer that the rain is just not strong enough to clean off.
With our technology, there is no thick hard sticky layer on the panels, just some dust resting on the panels so the rain will easily clean that off.
