Description

The AdvanceED/SAIS accredited Catholic school, which is sponsored by the Society of Mary, views each child as an individual with unlimited potential. With a highly motivated staff and a commitment to each child's learning style, Sophia Academy provides small class sizes, individualized goals, and innovative multi-sensory instruction. Eighty percent of students participate in extracurricular activities including athletics, fine arts and other opportunities. These opportunities are available to students at every level K - 12. Fifty percent of staff and students are Catholic, and we will continue to hire and enroll from all faith backgrounds. The Orton-Gillingham language learning approach, created for those with dyslexia, is a language instruction ideal for all learners, and all language arts teachers are Orton-Gillingham trained.
