South Anchorage High School is a vibrant community of students, staff, parents, and community members. Rated the number one high school in the State of Alaska, we offer a variety of academic and extracurricular experiences for students to succeed. Advanced Placement courses, an Engineering Program, and over 65 school-sponsored student activities help create a positive school climate where students are engaged, participating in rigorous and relevant study, and are able to enjoy their 4 years of high school to the fullest. The SAHS focus is on excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
