Dr. Brian Bearie MD and Christie Smirl NP are dedicated to your employment needs. Combined, they have over 26 years experience in Workman's Compensation. SCOHS is privately owned and operated, conveniently located inside of St. Bernardine Medical Center ajacent to the Emergency Department. SCOHS strives to provide prompt, comprehensive medical care and courteous reporting of information for employers, employees and insurance companies in an efficient and cost effective manner. SCOHS makes every effort to keep the employee on the job, using modified work status, when possible. We work with the employer to adapt the employee’s activities to their limitations until the employee is able to work without limitations. We offer Pre-Placement Physicals, Substance Abuse Testing (pre-placement,post-accident and random) and other testing services for our industrial clients. Other programs available include health promotion, executive physicals, back strength evaluations, and Immunizations. Outpatient laboratory, X-ray, CT, MRI, Physical Therapy and Pharmacy are conveniently located on site.
