An extra-ordinary no kill shelter! Our mission is to be an innovative regional leader in responsible treatment of homeless dogs and cats. The SPCA of Northern Nevada's shelter houses up to 60 dogs and 100 cats at a time. Additionally, we have an active Foster Program that cares for puppies and kittens until they are ready for adoption. Every animal that we adopt to the public is spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. All cats are tested for Felv/Fiv.
