Tutoring students in Speech and Drama, preparing them to perform at local Eisteddfods, AMEB and nurturing an interest in the dramatic arts.

Description

I believe that Speech and Drama skills are so very important to have in life. Firstly creating a love for Drama and then building skills in Speech - the lessons within the school semester allows for variety and time to work towards performance opportunities. It also allows for confidence to build for speaking assignments / that the students may be required to complete or for public speaking. By working on pieces throughout the lessons, it also allows for a focus on literacy development - reading aloud and sight reading help to build literacy skills in the student. Through my Speech and Drama lessons I hope to nurture a foundation for Performing and the Dramatic Arts.
