The Collection brings together an award winning archaeology museum and the region’s premier art gallery, the Usher Gallery, in the heart of historic Lincoln. The Collection and Usher Gallery is Lincolnshires' premier contemporary art gallery and Museum. The buildings sit side by side in the centre of the city close to Steep Hill and enjoy spectacular views of Lincoln Cathedral. The Collection includes a wealth of artefacts from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, Roman, Saxon, Viking and Medieval eras as well as fine, decorative and contemporary visual arts. The Collection has a vibrant contemporary exhibition programme.
