What happens if I need to cancel my class?
We understand that life can get in the way of pole dancing, and if you are unable to attend a lesson, please cancel as soon as possible and we will try to place you onto another, more suitable timed class instead.
Should you need to cancel your lesson for whatever reason prior to its commencement, please see below for our cancellation policy:

- If 36 hours or less notice is given, you will be charged for the lesson as it is very difficult for us to fill your place at short notice.
How do I cancel my class?
When you first booked your class you should have received a confirmation e-mail from Bookwhen. You can cancel your class by following the confirmation link. Once you are on the bookings page you will need to use the 'Cancel' option in in the 'Options' tab
I'm not very athletic or co-ordinated will I be able to do it?
At Spin City we welcome everyone - regardless of dance experience, athletic ability or fitness level. Being able to support your body weight and having a little coordination will help but remember - these are the skills you will learn during your course. As with everything, it will come more naturally to some people that others but everyone can do it! We all learn in different ways, at different speeds and Spin City helps provide an inclusive atmosphere to learn in where you can develop your own unique dance style!
What should I wear/bring?
Bare arms and legs are essential to grip the pole, so we would recommend shorts and a t-shirt or vest top, with either dance shoes or bare feet - comfortable gym clothes. Try not to moisturise, or use any oils the day of your class as this can affect your grip on the pole. If you don't feel comfortable wearing shorts on your first lesson you can wear leggings although this will mean you won't get as much grip on the pole.
Where is Spin City?
We now have several branches of Spin City around the country. All of our Exeter pole classes are run from the Exeter Phoenix Centre on Gandy Street. If you are from Bristol, Newbury or Brimpton please visit www.spincitypolefitness.com for more information.
Where should I Park?
Unfortunately the Phoenix Centre do not have onsite parking for customers, however after 18:00 there is normally plenty of free on street parking on Queen Street. If you park at Central Station make sure you get a parking ticket as they are hot on clamping. Please leave plenty of time to find a space, just in case!
How long are your classes?
All our regular pole classes are 1 hour long and our pole practice sessions are 1.5 hours. We do also run masterclasses which can vary between 1.5 hours and 2 hours.
What can I do to prepare?
Anyone can come along to our lessons regardless of weight, strength and athletic ability, however if you want to progress faster than the average student you may find it beneficial to partake in other fitness activities which will help you build your arms and abdominals alongside pole. Pilates and Body Balance are good classes to compliment pole.
