Description

Sport Albury Wodonga was formed in December 2006 by a community committee of sports minded volunteers. Their vision was to continue to run the Norske Skog Young Achiever Awards, which was established as a key event of the Albury Wodonga Festival of Sport. The awards night is run annually by Sport Albury Wodonga, with vital sponsorship from Norske Skog, which offers financial assistance to the overall winner who is judged on their sporting achievements over the past 12 months. Nominations are received towards the end of each calendar year, with 12 finalists selected and the winner announced at a gala presentation night in March.
