St. George College was established in 1983 and commenced operations in February 1984. As an independent, co-educational school St George College currently provides education to over 700 students from Playgroup to Year 12.
The College was established to: 1) Ensure the effective teaching and learning of Orthodoxy and that of the Modern Greek language. 2) Provide excellence in education through high quality teaching and learning programs. Since its establishment the College has expanded its facilities to include: 1) Two modern campuses with all the required facilities for effective curriculum delivery 2) The Performing Arts and Sports 3) Information Technology Centres specifically dedicated to meet the learning needs of students in the early, primary, middle and senior years of schooling. 4) The newly established music suite and E – Learning Centre 5) The newly completed Library Facility 6) The refurbished Junior Campus Hall 7) The Trade Training Centre in Hospitality
