40 years playing experience, 12 of them as a Professional playing with such names as John Martyn, the Big Dish, Cantychiels and Middle of the Road. Today he is the drummer with Celtic Rockers Ceilidhdonia who have played T in the Park, Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party, Olympics Opening Ceremony as well as regular trips abroad. Their debut album was Album of the Week on American Celtic Radio. Until recently he was also the drummer in tribute band " Simple Minded". Has taught for both Lothian Region and Central Region schools, The Academy of Music and Sound Glasgow and was also the Drum Tutor at Dollar Academy. As well as this he was a regular on the Gaelic Feis circuit teaching at summer schools for over 20 years. Now giving lessons in Roadshow Music, Upper Craigs Stirling as well as home tuition. All aspects and styles of drumming taught as well as percussion. Teaches on both acoustic kit and Roland V drums. Lessons tailored to each students requirements and abilities. All ages welcome especially adult learners or drummers simply looking to just "Up their game". Rock School and Trinity taught, Grades 1 to 8.
