Description
This Pre-School open in 1962 and is situated in a 19th century listed building. Children are cared for by qualified staff and we are open from 9am -to- 12:55 We have free government funded places available and provide a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. Outside we have a small side garden with a flowerbed and safe pond. We often take trips outs to a large private wooded garden for forest school activities. Indoors we have designated areas for communication and language, maths, creative arts, physical play, imaginative play and exploration/science. The Pre-School is a member of The Pre-School Learning Alliance, B.A.N.D. and is registered/inspected by OFSTED. We also take part in the L.E.A quality assurance scheme The Bristol Standard. All children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
