For over 25 years, Stokehouse has provided endless memorable dining experiences with impeccable yet approachable food, wine and service. Located in Alfred Place lane way, in Melbourne's CBD, Stokehouse City is a reincarnation of the iconic two-story venue on St Kilda Beach that was lost to fire in January 2014. Offering the renown relaxed fine-dining restaurant Upstairs and the energetic casual bar and eatery Downstairs, Stokehouse City brings an all-in one experience to Melbourne's CBD, with exceptional drinking, dining and service for any occasion. Upstairs mixes relaxed glamour with exceptional food, wine and service. The award-winning menu is crafted by The Age Good Food Guide's 2014 Young Chef of the Year, Ollie Gould, and is complemented by an international wine list matched by Van Haandel Group sommelier, Lincoln Riley. Downstairs bar and eatery opens at 12 noon, and serves food all throughout the day until late night. Easy and energetic, the space is flexible and offers an ideal setting for all social occasions, including after work drinks & parties, group lunch & dinner bookings, intimate dinners and quick bites to eat at the bar. Stokehouse City is open 7 days a week. Upstairs, Lunch from 12 noon and Dinner from 6pm. Downstairs, 12 noon, all day, till late night.
