Station 26 is currently operating in the area of the 5800 block of susquehanna trail in the 26-01 box by station 26-1 for an odor of natural gas outside. Chief 26 on scene reporting nothing evident still investigating along with Engines 26-1 and 2 tanker, rescue,and brush all enroute. Please keep clear of the are.

Are currently operating on a structure response call in the 100 block of mill run road, reports of a lightning strike inside the house and a possible gas leak inside. E26-1, E26-2, E6-1, E6-2, R26, TK89-2, CH26, BAT89-2 all are on scene.
~Per NWS and YCDES~ THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN YORK COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA AND SOUTHEASTERN LANCASTER COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA UNTIL 1045 PM EDT AT 1007 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS AROUND 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR DELTA TO NEAR WAKEFIELD TO NEAR BAY VIEW AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE DELTA, GAP, QUARRYVILLE, WAKEFIELD, BUCK, CHRISTIANA, GEORGETOWN, KIRKWOOD, LITTLE BRITAIN, PEACH BOTTOM, AND SUSQUEHANNA TRAILS. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: THE THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE DAMAGE. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.
