Ryan is looking for a few people to help with two outreach events, one on 3/11 and another on 3/12. Both events would involve teaching kids about stem cells and running a hands-on pipetting demo to simulate cell culture. He would be able to drive up to two people to each event. Please send an email to ssscr@rso.wisc.edu if anyone would be available to help. Here are the details for each event: 3/11: Wingra Elementary School (718 Gilmore St., Madison), 5:00-7:30 pm 3/12: Children's Museum (100 N Hamilton St, Madison), 5:00-8:30 pm

Hello everyone! We hope your midterms are going well and you have a little bit of time to spare this upcoming Monday to hear from MD/PhD candidate Ray Zhang. He works closely with the Weichert and Kuo labs to examine lipidomics in the targeting of cancer pathways. Don't know what that is? Want to learn more? Come join us Monday 6 pm in Genetics/Biotech for an awesome time. FREE PIZZA!
