SVO President - Jared Smith SVO Vice-President - Andrea Schumacher The purpose of the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) to provide opportunities to members of the SVO in the following areas: 1. Opportunities for socialization and campus involvement that enhance personal wellbeing and the academic experience. 2. Assist SVO members with personal needs that may hinder their success in obtaining a higher education degree. 3. Enhance self-worth and the welfare of others through opportunities of philanthropy within Wichita State University and the community. 4. Advocate for SVO members at the University, Local, State and Federal Levels when required by the Executive Board and or membership of the organization.

Membership is open to any enrolled WSU student who is: 1. Enrolled in at least three hours, and; 2. Is a United States Military Veteran, or: 3. Has a desire to be a member of the Student Veterans Organization Membership is open to any non-WSU student who: 1. Is a high school student, student from another two year, four year or technical college, or; 2. is a dependent of a veteran, enrolled or not enrolled at WSU, or 3. any person who has a desire to be a member of the Wichita State University Student Veterans Organization.Company Rating
