The studio was founded by André Bolouri beginning of 2015Under the directorship of him it had developed out of the Actors Space Berlin whose co-founder and director he has been for five years. The studio is dedicated to professional acting classes and individual coaching that not only meet the standard of todays industry but also progressive exploration of modern acting training. It sees itself as a home for actors who want to train their craft and art where personal and artistic development is made possible and desired. It is love and passion for our art that drives us. The intensity of being in the moment. The liberation of creativity. We want support and challenge artists to help the true potential of their being: open, transparent, direct, immediate, authentic, passionate, alive, human. We are teaching and exploring the tools that we believe are necessary for todays fast changing industry and challenges and that ultimately give the actor freedom, ease, self-confidence and joy in creating. The foundation for our training is the Meisner-Technique and is expanded ugh other techniques like Linklater voice-work, Lucid-Body Method, Cechov-Training, ... We are striving to deepen and strengthen each ones creativity and individuality. We believe that only an actor in training, who is well prepared is able to achieve the freedom, relaxation and spontaneity in the moment of acting that are necessary to create interesting characters whom we follow because they are truly alive. The power and development of imagination plays a big part actor´s faith into what he is doing under imaginary circumstances, following their objective relating and reacting to their partner. All the while being connected to your emotional truth. Able to take courageous decisions. Our classes and coachings are open to everyone who are committed to sincerely train their craft, honing and refining their skills We are offering a safe space where to `try and error`, to meet other committed actors, directors and writers. The art of acting is in constant change and needs like every other art form a willingness to change, to leave habits behind which actually makes this journey so vibrant and satisfying. This is why we gave ourselves the im to offer the actor all possibilities to express the inner truth of their experienceand artistic integrity. To be centered in themselves and be generous. I believe in the power of storytelling and the art of acting is a challenging and rewarding one once mastered. Stories and characters shape our history, our lives. They let us ask questions, they offer directions, they let us partake in their experience. We want to honor that.
