Mr. Russell, My name is Kelly Parker and my daughter, Katelyn Hurley, and I bought a used car from your dealership on the 5th of May of this year. It was a very nice 2007 Chrysler Sebring that we purchased with the help of Geoff Fish. This was my daughter’s first financed car and we were thrilled with the service, the rate and the price of the car. My kid is 22 and has not had very good luck with older used cars as most of them came from buy here, pay here places. I don’t know how many times she has been broke down on the side of the road or something on the car breaks so I was confident that with this purchase, I would no longer have to worry about her being stranded somewhere. Well, this past Thursday, she was driving home from Cincinnati and the battery and alternator went out in the car leaving her stranded on the side of 71 just shy of the New Lebanon exit. I work in Columbus and was over an hour away from where she was broke down. She called me here at work to tell me that the car died on the side of the road and needless to say, I went a little, ok A LOT, off the deep end. I could not believe it!!!!! We didn’t even have the memo title yet to this car and it was already useless sitting on the side of the freeway!!!!! I was livid. I called your dealership and pretty much went crazy with the poor guy on the phone. I don’t even remember who I talked to I was so upset. I told him who I was and what happened and without one single argument or negative word, he agreed to have Geoff pick her up, tow the car back to the dealership and fix the car at no cost to us. They replaced the battery and alternator and had her on her way the next day. Luckily she has friends in Cincinnati that were able to pick her up and bring her back the next day without me having to miss work and go all the way down there. The service we received when we bought the car was terrific and the service we received again when the car broke down was a God Send!!!! I could not be more pleased that your dealership took care of us even though they really didn’t have to. I understand we bought the car with no warranty but to have it stop running barely 2 weeks after the purchase was so upsetting, I was in tears. Your team went above and beyond to make sure her car was functional again and to give me peace of mind that she was being taken care of. Please extend my deepest appreciation and gratitude to your sales manager and your service department for the excellent service they provided. You have no idea how much stress and worry they saved me from!!!! I have never thought about buying a Subaru before but I guarantee my next new car will be purchased from your team!
