Hope everyone has had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Hey guys, I've created an account on Instagram (sumikophotography), so please go check it out and follow! :)
Hoping everyone is keeping cool this summer! It's been quite a busy one, which is why I haven't posted much. I recently got accepted into a ministry dance program and will be moving on September 1st to Oklahoma City for nine months! So, snag me while you can in August before I leave! In honor of school starting, I've decided to run a special for senior portraits: $5 off your package! And remember, returning customers get a discount, too! Help send a girl to OKC an schedule your session today!:)
So with a new year and a new website, I figured it was time for a new signature on photos! Check out my latest post below to see it, and let me know what you think! I know it's been a slow few weeks without posting, but I blame the cold weather and crazy work hours. :)
I will be visiting Nashville the weekend of November 8th, and could fit in a session or two if you act fast. Schedule your session today! :)
Dancing all the way to Costa Rica
Our next big trip is a two-week tour around Costa Rica (and possibly Nicaragua) in January, and will consist of outreaches similar to what we did in Memphis/India last year, including: in schools, churches, retirement centers, and the streets.
Make sure to write Lyanna/Costa Rica in the memo section.
I cannot wait to come home and tell of what God does in Costa Rica!
Hope you have a very merry Christmas!
I saw a couple of pictures small pictures in the Red Light District, but was still contemplating what they were.
We started the show off by doing Light Shines Bright, which is a fun happy number we co-choreographed as a team; it ended up being our staple piece everywhere we went.
In the middle of the piece, the lights went out, but we kept going!
We were on the floor a solid 5-10 minutes just crying out to God, so overwhelmed.
We aren’t worthy, weren’t worthy, to travel to India or anywhere else to share God’s love and glory.
The day we went to the Red Light District in Mumbai didn’t go quite as we all thought it was going to, but it ended up being one of the biggest days on the trip for many of the team members.
We were in the bus probably four hours before even getting to the Red Light district, at about 1 p.m.
I know that that day in the Red Light District definitely changed all of our lives on the team.
It’s been a nonstop whirlwind since getting back from Christmas break!
A lot has happened since the last time I was able to post an update.
Fundraisers, performances, India trip that was postponed and so much more.
Hey all, just wanted to give a little update about my first month in Edmond!
I loved being able to spend the day with my dear friend Parker and do another set of head shots!
He’s such a goober.
