Suncayr has developed an easy to use, visible colour changing product that can be used by parents to determine when their children are exposed to dangerous UV radiation. This business is focused on producing products that can detect ultraviolet light exposure. Initially we plan to focus on developing products for sensing the effectiveness of personal sunscreen. Currently, there is no reliable method to detect when your current coating of sun screen has worn off, and you need to reapply. Suncayr has developed a method to indicate when your skin is exposed to the sun. Our technology is useful for many other applications as well. Ultraviolet light is a damaging light source, and is used in many different fields, such as scientific laboratories.
