Sunderland Stages is a new project set up to programme more theatre, dance and spoken word performances into venues across Sunderland. Our aim is to develop audiences across Sunderland and provide more quality performances across the city for residents to enjoy. Sunderland Stages will initially run from Autumn 2014 - Summer 2015 and there are four main venues involved in the project: - Arts Centre Washington artscentrewashington.co.uk - The Royalty Theatre royaltytheatre.co.uk - North Shore – At University of Sunderland Students’ Union sunderlandsu.co.uk - Bonded Warehouse – At University of Sunderland Students’ Union Performances will also take place at special venues across the city, the first is at The National Glass Centre nationalglasscentre.com and more venues are to be confirmed.
