Our New Patient Questionnaire gives you the opportunity to tell us what your concerns are and help us identify areas of concern, so we can personalize your care based on your needs. Your initial visit will begin with meeting with one of our friendly dental assistants, who will get to know you and help you identify any potential issues to bring up with the doctor. Once they understand your dental goals, your assistant will continue by taking a full series of x-rays to help us identify any dental disease. We understand radiation exposure is a concern for many of our patients, that's why our office only uses digital x-rays, which allows us to reduce radiation exposure for our patients by over 80% compared to traditional film based x-rays. This makes it a safe and effective way for you to have a thorough analysis of your oral condition and help us pin point any issues with your teeth, gums and bone. Your doctor will complete your exam appointment with a comprehensive evaluation of your health and dental needs. Using state-of-the-art technology such as intraoral cameras and advanced oral cancer screening technology. With this new technology, you are able to see exactly what your doctor sees, allowing you to have a complete understanding of your condition and recommended treatment options. Many health conditions can manifest signs that may be detected by your dentist. Serious health concerns such as heart disease, sleep apnea and diabetes are routinely identified based on your oral condition and your doctor will help you identify any potential risk factors and how you can minimize risks of developing more serious health complications by properly treating the associated oral health issue. At the end of your appointment, you will receive a customized printout with everything the doctor discussed and recommended for you.
