Sunset Club brings together four songwriters based in Montreal with a mind to play truly organic saloon music for the new century. An auspicious musical marriage between blues poet and harp man Endrick Tremblay, Toronto expat folk-rocker Greg McEvoy, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Michael Di Re, and the ethereal vocals and fingerpicking of Simon-Pierre Lacasse leads to a rich and deeply layered sound. Country waltzes meet Memphis soul, delta blues mingles with West Village-inspired folk, Bluegrass mandolin sidles up to San Francisco psychedelia, providing the bedrock while four distinct voices blend together in harmony.
