Hatched within the mind of author C. David Apgar in the fall of 2011, Survival Pod Publishing exploded on the publishing market like a classic Alien chestburster on December 21, 2012 with the debut release of Survival Pod: Issues 1 & 2 and Volume One. Dedicated to the rebirth of the short story and its importance in fiction; Survival Pod Publishing is a beacon in the dark, a clarion call to other writers struggling to find their place in the vastness of the Universe. Although not currently accepting submissions for Issues 3 & 4, there are plans in the works for Survival Pod: Random Messages; a short story compilation book in the vein of the greatness of the "Twilight Zone". Writers from all over will be invited to submit their eclectic and eccentric tales for one of twelve spots but special attention will be paid to writer from Minnesota and the Twin Cities. When submission are opened for Survival Pod: Random Messages, it will be announced here, on the official Survival Pod website, and through our twitter account @survivalpod. Never give up hope. If you are still writing then you are still alive and if you are still alive it can happen to you. Don't believe us? Watch Scrooged again because you didn't get the message...

I know I don't know the whole story yet but I must admit to the small twinge of joy I get every time Spartan Locke dies. Then the annoyance of starting over kicks in and my joy dissipates like smoke in the wind... #Halo5

First impressions of Halo 5: Pretty, pretty cut scenes... No. No. No. No, I don't want to play as Spartan Locke. I'm the Arbiter again... Sad Panda face.
