Talent For Cons is a service that helps consumer focused media shows (like anime and comic conventions) book celebrity talent for their event. Over ten years ago, Green Mustard Entertainment began to design programming for fan conventions and consumer focused media shows across the U.S. We learned that one of the most challenging aspects of building a great event is securing the right talent to make it happen. After we started running our own conventions in 2007, we saw first hand how overly complicated it can be to contact and negotiate contracts for celebrity appearances. Also during that time, we've developed a number of relationships with actors, artists, and models who have all thought the same thing... there HAS to be an easier way to do this! In the fall of 2011, our development team began reaching out to a number of our contacts and let them in on our new project: Talent for Cons. The idea is simple - don't just "try booking" talent, actually do it! Easy and consistent communication is key and we've made the process of finding and booking talent for conventions simple and painless. 1. Check out our website. We have a number of talented people that we have DIRECT CONTACT with (not "we know their friends" or "we talked to their agent once.") See if anyone would make a suitable Guest for your convention. 2. Don't see someone your looking for? That's okay! We have relationships with a number of other talent agencies and events. We still might be table to help you find that particular person you need. 3. Review the FEES section of our website. Members of our talent pool are working professionals and often require fees and expenses when appearing at an event. There are a number of ways to handle this and we've presented them for you here in plain English. 4. Next, simply fill out the request form on our website and we'll get the ball rolling for you. Talent for Cons will take the information you've provided and check it against availability, usual fee requests, and genre suitability to help make sure that you AND the talent have all the tools you need to agree upon a contract and secure an appearance.
