Every makeup artist is different indeed but all professional makeup artist all have a common link; our skill set and credibility which should never be jeopardized. Makeup artist gets this kind of hesitation a lot. I like for all my clients to know all of what their getting, especially my brides as it is only one of the biggest days of your life. First and foremost I am a certified makeup artist, self taught but decided to further my learning ability in this world of fashion & beauty. I took the time to not only learn the various techniques this talent of mine has to offer but also the basic fundamentals behind it. I've personally trained with the best and in return have gotten some great opportunities and have had some amazing experiences. I have some celebrities in my portfolio and have also been published in multiple magazines. I have had the opportunity of doing some pretty awesome clients and contributed my talent for a greater causes. What does a bride get out of professional makeup artist most importantly me? Luxury- you get the luxury of not having to leave your home or hotel room on the day of and travel to a store counter in front of everyone to be rushed and get your makeup done. A professional packs up all his/her products and travels to you. You get to relax in your pajamas with your maids sipping mimosas. Many of us travel not only with our big heavy kits…and then we stand for hours sometimes as many as 6 straight hours without a break or sitting down for 5 minutes. Experience/Skill- you are paying for our knowledge of what products to use that are camera friendly and which to avoid. You are paying us to know appropriate makeup for all appropriate age groups, different skin types and skin conditions and which products are accommodating for both. You are paying us for the different ‘techniques’that we have mastered in order to ensure your makeup lasts ALL DAY!! You are paying us to bring to life your ‘vision’ of how you want to look and feel on your day!! Invested product- makeup is not cheap even with pro discounts. Professionalism- We don’t back out. WE SHOW UP!! We take our weddings very serious and provide you with the best in a "luxury" service Time/cleanliness. - Keeping our products and kits cleaned and well stocked. We must cover all the expenses associated with being self-employed and we have to pay taxes too just like everyone else. This is how we make our living to pay for rent, food, electricity, etc. This is our ‘business’. This isn’t a hobby. Confidence- professionals give you peace of mind that your makeup artist will be show up and show out. When a woman looks in the mirror, a tear comes into her eye and she says: “OMG, I didn’t know I could look like this”, or "OMG, I look beautiful", you cannot put a price on that! This is an investment ... an investment in you.
